through hands-on digital marketing, content creation, and brand coordination.
Role Overview
The Marketing Coordinator will manage day-to-day marketing activities across multiple SKJ Capital brands, focusing on digital engagement, paid and organic social media, website maintenance, and partnership coordination. This is a dynamic role suited to someone who enjoys variety, collaboration, and creativity within a multi-brand environment.
Key Responsibilities
Social Media Management:
* Manage content planning, scheduling, and posting across Facebook and Instagram for SKJ brands.
* Coordinate with brand managers to source and create engaging content.
* Write captions and post copy, maintaining a consistent tone of voice for each brand.
* Support LinkedIn content writing and scheduling as required.
* Build and maintain monthly social media calendars by week.
* Monitor engagement, respond to social channel comments and messages, and foster community interaction.
Paid Advertising:
* Manage Facebook and Instagram ads — from creation through to reporting.
* Launch and monitor Google Ads campaigns, including setup, optimization, and performance reporting.
Content & Creative:
* Design and adapt marketing assets in Canva, including social posts, signage, and promotional templates.
* Write engaging short- and long-form copy for social media, websites, and partnership announcements.
* Coordinate the production of digital and printed signage for brand activations.
Web & Digital:
* Conduct website audits using SEMRush and Google Analytics to identify SEO opportunities and site issues.
* Maintain and update Google Business Profiles (hours, photos, reviews, posts).
* Liaise with web developers to implement website updates and improvements.
* Draft or edit website copy in collaboration with brand managers.
Documentation & Process Management:
* Create and maintain internal marketing process documents and reference guides.
* Work alongside brand managers to create and refine social content and marketing plans, enabling them to confidently manage ongoing updates.
* Maintain a structured coverage plan for marketing task management and scheduling.
Partnerships & PR:
* Coordinate sponsorships, collaborations, and community partnerships.
* Handle incoming media requests and ensure timely responses.
* Maintain strong relationships with marketing, media, and advertising partners.
Skills & Qualifications Required
* Demonstrated experience managing Facebook, LinkedIn and Instagram (organic + paid).
* Strong copywriting skills and ability to adapt to multiple brand tones and styles.
* Ability to design basic creative assets in Canva.
* Working knowledge of Google Ads, SEO Optimisation, and Google Business Profiles.
* Excellent organization and project management skills.
* Strong attention to detail and ability to balance multiple priorities.
Preferred (Nice-to-Have)
* Experience coordinating and managing sponsorships or marketing partnerships.
* Background in media/PR handling.
* Confidence managing signage production and vendor relationships.
Physical & Work Environment Requirements
* Work location: This role is primarily based in-office, with flexibility for some remote or offsite work as approved.
* Travel: Occasional local travel may be required for meetings, events, sponsorships, or onsite coordination (usually within Brisbane metro area).
* Physical activity: The role may involve light lifting (up to 10–15 kg) for event materials, signage, or marketing supplies.
* Events & fieldwork: Occasional on-site presence at partner venues or community events may be required, sometimes during evenings or weekends.
* Work environment: Standard office environment with regular computer and screen use.
