About The Role
Central Goldfields Shire Council is looking for suitably experienced Cook for both permanent part-time and casual position/s to join the team at Goldfields Children's Centre in Maryborough.
The casual Cook will cover leave and work collaboratively with the permanent Cook. The permanent part-time Cook will work 7:30am to 3:00pm Monday to Friday.
The Centre Cook will source, plan and prepare nourishing, culturally diverse and nutritious meals suitable for children's dietary needs meals for children aged 0 to 6. The menu will comply with the Goldfields Children's Centre's Nutrition policy meeting all requirements of the National Quality Framework.
Key duties of the role include menu planning and food preparation, purchasing of stock and housekeeping. Experience working in a childcare setting would be an advantage but not a prerequisite.
