Location: Randwick, Sydney (primary base at Prince of Wales Hospital/Royal Hospital for Women).
The role may be required to work at different locations within SESLHD.

The Role
To provide clinical pharmacy services across South Eastern Sydney Local Health District (SESLHD) to optimise safe and appropriate medication usage.
The position will rotate through a variety of clinical, operational (dispensary) and production teams on a rotation schedule.
The role requires participation in a seven-day roster with flexible hours, on call, after hours, weekends and public holidays.
SESLHD Pharmacy Services is an extended hours service operating seven days per week.
Responsibilities
Provide clinical pharmacy services to optimise safe and appropriate medication usage across SESLHD.
Rotate through clinical, operational (dispensary) and production teams on a rotation schedule.
Participate in a seven-day roster with flexible hours, on call, after-hours, weekends and public holidays.
Work primarily at Prince of Wales Hospital/Royal Hospital for Women with potential to work at other SESLHD locations.

Qualifications & Requirements
Registered as a practicing pharmacist with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA).
Grade 2 Pharmacists must meet the criteria in the Health Employees' Pharmacists (State) Award and demonstrate achievement of at least three of the five competencies within the Award.
Experience in clinical drug knowledge application to ensure safe and appropriate medication use in a hospital setting, with collaboration across multidisciplinary teams.
