Flaming North Fire is growing, and we're looking for a Qualified Electrician to join our dedicated team.
If you have a strong electrical background and are interested in building a career in the fire protection industry, this is a fantastic opportunity.
About the RoleYou will be working across a range of electrical and fire-related tasks, including:
Assisting with installation, preventative maintenance, and testing of fire protection systems As per relevant Australian Standards.
Working alongside experienced fire technicians.
Learning industry-specific fire protection skills with support and training provided
Replacement of failed emergency and exit lighting.
What We're Looking For
A qualified electrician willing to hold QTP licensing
2+ years of electrical experience ( essential)
Fire industry experience is not required, but highly regarded
Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality work
A positive attitude and willingness to learn
Current electrical licence
Driver's licence and good work ethic An Australian Electrical Trade Qualification
A QLD Electrical License and unrestricted C Class Driving license
Current CPR/LVR and First Aid certification
EWP, Forklift, AC ticket (highly regarded)
Excellent verbal and written communication.
Excellent troubleshooting, breakdown and diagnostic skills
Able to work within and contribute to the team, working with a diverse team environment.
