About the Opportunity
Maintain and enhance a suite of Financial Management Information Systems (FMIS), including costing and budget models. Deliver detailed financial analysis, support the institution's planning cycles, and provide system-based solutions that improve data integrity, forecasting accuracy, and process efficiency.
* Prepare and maintain annual budgets and forward projections, delivering insights that align with the institution's strategic direction while managing financial risks in collaboration with stakeholders across the organization.
With experience in medium to large-scale Financial Management Information Systems, you'll lead system improvements, support end users, and ensure financial tools meet both strategic and compliance needs.
Essential Skills and Qualifications
* Financial Expertise – Strong knowledge of budgeting, forecasting, and financial analysis, with the ability to interpret complex financial data and provide strategic insights.
* Systems Knowledge – Demonstrated experience supporting and enhancing medium to large-scale Financial Management Information Systems, ensuring data accuracy and reporting efficiency.
* Analytical Thinking – Proven ability to investigate financial issues, assess risks, and provide evidence-based recommendations aligned with policy and compliance standards.
* Qualifications and Experience – A relevant degree and extensive experience in management accounting or financial systems, ideally within a large or complex organization.
* Stakeholder Engagement – Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate across teams, present financial information clearly, and meet tight deadlines.
