Job Description
We are seeking an Employment Specialist to support and guide clients in attaining suitable employment opportunities leading to sustainable outcomes.
* Developing and maintaining relationships with stakeholders as part of managing the referral and intake process of job seekers into chosen programs.
* Assessment of job seeker skills, abilities, identification of barriers and intervention strategies.
* Development of work preparation strategies, job seeking strategies, tailored interventions and employment support activities.
* Reverse marketing of job seekers to achieve sustainable employment opportunities.
* Providing pre-employment assistance through vocational counselling, training, job search skills and work trials/work experience.
Required Skills and Qualifications
* Self-driven, resilient and experienced in customer service.
* Strong communication skills, attention to detail in a fast-paced environment.
* Ability to use computer systems, excellent data accuracy and note taking.
* Build rapport, grow and maintain relationships with clients, peers and job seekers.
* Hold a current NDIS worker screening check or be willing to obtain one.
