About the Role
The Clinical Midwife Educator is a key leader within the clinical team and a role model of excellence in practice and life‑long learning. The role will deliver program education, support and assessment for all levels of learners—including undergraduate, graduate, STEP, postgraduate students and staff—while also managing the Clinical Support Midwife roster. The successful candidate will work across all NH campuses, primarily based in the Women's and Children's Directorate areas and specialties.
Qualifications & Experience
* AHPRA dual registration as a Midwife and Registered Nurse
* Postgraduate qualification – Graduate Diploma or higher in Midwifery or Education
* Minimum of 5 years midwifery experience
* Previous nursing education experience of 3 years
* Good working knowledge of midwifery care
* Ability to work across all Northern Health campuses on a Monday to Friday day‑shift roster only
* Highly effective communication skills
* Excellent team collaborative skills
