ABOUT THE ROLE
The Marketing Coordinator identifies market opportunities and helps shape how NIT prices and promotes its courses and services. You will turn market and performance insights into recruitment-focused campaigns across digital and offline channels, while keeping messaging accurate, consistent, and compliant.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
You will own marketing delivery and improvement across NIT's course portfolio, including:
Market insight and opportunity identification
* Monitor local, national and international education markets to spot trends, target segments, and growth opportunities
* Track competitor offerings, positioning and promotional activity, and translate findings into practical recommendations
* Gather and interpret student and stakeholder feedback to sharpen messaging and channel strategy
* Produce short, decision-ready summaries for senior management
Pricing and course promotion support
* Support course and service pricing reviews using market signals and competitor benchmarks
* Contribute data-backed recommendations for promotions (e.g., campaigns, bundles, scholarships/discount structures)
* Work with academic/operations teams to clearly define course benefits so campaigns are accurate and compelling
Campaign planning and coordination
* Build campaign plans for student recruitment and brand awareness (annual + term-based)
* Coordinate timelines, approvals, deliverables and suppliers (design, print, digital contractors)
* Deliver integrated activity across digital, social, email, events and selected traditional channels
* Maintain consistent brand presentation across all touchpoints
Digital, content and channels
* Coordinate website updates (course pages, landing pages, news/events) with internal stakeholders
* Draft/edit web copy, EDMs, social posts, flyers/brochures and presentations
* Schedule and manage social content, monitor engagement, and respond to basic enquiries
Events and student recruitment support
* Support recruitment activity for NIT by planning and coordinating participation in expos/fairs, open days, tours, webinars, info sessions, partner events
* Represent NIT at recruitment events and coordinate logistics (registrations, collateral, banners, follow-ups)
* Work with agents/partners to lift event impact and lead quality
CRM, leads and reporting
* Support lead management through CRM/enquiry systems: clean data, segmentation, workflow support
* Track performance (leads, conversion, CPL/CPA, ROI) and maintain dashboards and reporting routines
* Recommend campaign changes based on what the data shows
Brand, quality and compliance
* Ensure marketing content is accurate, compliant for education marketing, and aligned to NIT brand guidelines
* Proofread and QA collateral so course/fee/policy details are correct and current
SELECTION CRITERIA
* A Bachelor's degree or higher in Marketing/Business/Communications (or similar)
* 5+ years relevant marketing experience
* 3+ years running campaigns end-to-end with measurable outcomes
* Strong analytics/reporting capability (GA4 + Looker Studio, or equivalent)
* Confident writing and stakeholder/supplier coordination
* High attention to detail (you will be handling pricing/course info and published content)
WORK ARRANGEMENT: Primarily on-site in Melbourne (hybrid/remote not available initially). Travelling to Perth and Darwin will be required.

Pay: $80,000.00 – $90,000.00 per year
