Our client is looking for an experienced Facilities Engineer to join their team on a short-term temporary contract in Nedlands. An immediate start is required.
Your new role
* Perform routine inspections and maintenance of plant equipment and machinery.
* Diagnose and resolve mechanical, electrical, and technical issues promptly.
* Monitor system performance and ensure compliance with safety and quality standards.
* Respond to breakdowns and implement corrective actions to minimise downtime.
* Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities and shift reports.
* Collaborate with other engineers and departments to optimise operations.
What you'll need to succeed
* Exposure to and understanding of engineering systems and disciplines such as refrigeration, electrical, mechanical, and general engineering.
* Possession of a current C or C-A driving licence.
* Ability to work autonomously and unsupervised in a fast-paced environment.
* Trade qualification or degree in Engineering (Mechanical/Electrical or related field).
* Proven experience in a similar role within manufacturing, industrial, or production environments.
* Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work under pressure.
* Knowledge of health, safety, and environmental regulations.
* Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
