Job Description
We are seeking a Pricing Operations Specialist to manage our pricing models, calculate prices for large network users, and contribute to regulatory submissions.
* Key responsibilities include:
1. Managing and updating our network pricing models
2. Calculating network prices for residential, small businesses, and large users
3. Analysing tariff strategies and customer impacts
4. Managing annual billing system updates
5. Leading the implementation of tariffs into internal systems
6. Responding to pricing enquiries from internal teams and large customers
7. Preparing internal and external presentations on network pricing
8. Liaising with asset planners to gather data inputs for regulatory purposes
9. Ensuring compliance with relevant regulations and guidelines

Requirements
To succeed in this role, you will need:
1. A bachelor's degree in finance, engineering, mathematics, economics, or a related discipline
2. Extensive experience in network pricing policy and operations
3. Proven stakeholder management skills, with the ability to communicate clearly, influence outcomes, and build strong relationships
4. Excellent written and verbal presentation skills, including the ability to simplify complex analyses for senior stakeholders
5. Advanced Microsoft Excel skills
6. Demonstrated ability to challenge and influence senior stakeholders while building effective relationships across multiple teams
7. Proficiency in Python for modelling and data analysis is highly desirable
8. Knowledge of the regulatory framework affecting regulated pricing in the electricity distribution industry and/or broader energy sector would be desirable
