NES Fircroft is looking for a Business Development Manager to join our team in Brisbane, focused on driving revenue growth and expanding our footprint across the mining sector in Queensland and wider Australia.

What You'll Be Doing:
* Drive Business Growth – Proactively identify, target, and win new business across mining clients, from junior explorers to Tier 1 operators. Position NES Fircroft as the go-to partner for delivering skilled talent across engineering, geoscience, HSE, and operations.
* Develop Strategic Client Relationships – Build and commercialise relationships with key decision-makers including project directors, asset managers, HR leaders, and procurement teams. Embed yourself as a trusted partner across project lifecycles.
* Sell Technical Workforce Solutions – Lead with a solutions-based sales approach across contract staffing, permanent hires, and project mobilisation. Support clients across mine planning, FEED, construction, commissioning, and production phases.
* Consult with Clients on Workforce Strategy – Provide market intelligence on talent shortages, salary benchmarking, workforce planning, and contractor engagement models across commodities such as iron ore, coal, and critical minerals.
* Collaborate with Global Teams – Leverage NES Fircroft's international network to deliver end-to-end workforce solutions, mobilising talent across regions to meet project timelines and compliance requirements.
What We're Looking For:
* 5+ years' experience in business development, sales, or account management within mining, technical recruitment, or workforce solutions
* Strong understanding of mining project lifecycles, including engineering, construction, and operations environments
* Demonstrated success in winning new logos and growing revenue within competitive markets
* Commercially astute with a proactive, hunter mentality and consultative sales approach
* Confident communicator, able to engage with both technical and non-technical stakeholders
* Experience supporting mining clients across Queensland or broader Australian markets is highly advantageous
