Tamworth Rural Referral Hospital is seeking a Staff Specialist Geriatrician to join its expanding and highly valued Older Persons Medicine service.
This is an opportunity to deliver comprehensive, high-quality geriatric care across inpatient, outpatient, and community settings, supported by a dedicated Clinical Nurse Practitioner and multidisciplinary team.
The Role
The successful applicant will play a key role in improving health outcomes for older people across the region.
You will provide expert assessment and management of **complex, multifactorial internal medicine conditions** impacting cognition, mobility, and functional status — generally in patients aged 65 and over (with exceptions as clinically appropriate).

Selection Criteria / Requirements
Applicants Must Have
* A primary medical degree registrable with **AHPRA**
* **Fellowship of the Royal Australasian College of Physicians (Geriatric Medicine)** and/or specialist registration with AHPRA
* Demonstrated comprehensive experience in **Geriatric Medicine**
