Housekeeping Team Leaders
We are seeking experienced Housekeeping Supervisors ready to take the next step in their career by overseeing our on-site operations. This is a hands-on leadership role permanently based at one specific resort, making you the vital bridge between our central office, the resort's front desk, and your crew. You will ensure the seamless operation of a close-knit team (2-5 members), focusing on mentorship, quality control, and on-the-job training.
Key Responsibilities:
* Team Leadership: Provide daily guidance, hands-on training, and ongoing coaching to a team of Room Attendants to foster a positive and efficient work environment.
* Quality Assurance: Conduct regular room inspections to ensure all cleaning and presentation meets Moxy's meticulous 5-star standards and deadlines are met.
* Communication Hub: Serve as the main on-site point of contact for the Moxy office and the resort's reception team, ensuring clear and proactive communication.
* Operational Coordination: Manage the daily setup for the team and ensure all staff are equipped for a successful day.
* Inventory Management: Oversee the ordering and stock control of cleaning supplies and ensure that tools are in the best shape to deliver premier results.
* Lead by Example: Assist with cleaning duties where necessary to support the team during peak periods.
Quality Controller
We are looking for housekeeping professionals with a keen eye for detail and a nurturing personality to keep a close eye on cleaning quality and providing training guidance to our cleaners. In an environment of short staff turnovers, this role is a critical
Moving between resorts, this is an exciting role that will provide autonomy and independence to an individual that can spot sand on tiles, hairs in grout and has a good eye for presentation. With a solid background in hotel accommodation cleaning, you are able to take the results of your inspections and proactively guide team members towards continuous improvement.
Key Responsibilities
* Quality Assurance: Conduct regular room inspections to ensure all cleaning and presentation meets our clients' meticulous 5-star standards.
* Ongoing Training: Translate inspection results into positive coaching moments; you will provide hands-on guidance and on-the-spot training to ensure both new recruits and long-standing team members feel supported in achieving excellence.
* Team Work: You will play a vital role in Moxy's dedicated Quality division, collaborating closely with the Training Team to ensure we consistently deliver immaculate accommodation standards to all our clients.
What You'll Bring to the Team:
* Proven experience in a housekeeping role within a hotel or resort environment.
* A minimum of 6-12 months housekeeping experience in hotels or resorts is required.
* Previous experience in a supervisory, 2IC (second-in-charge), or team leader position is highly desirable but not essential.
* A meticulous eye for detail and an unwavering commitment to maintaining high standards.
* Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to lead and motivate a team.
* A proactive, adaptable, and solutions-focused mindset.
* Strong organisational and time-management skills.
