Job Title: Senior Conservation Lead
This role oversees pest management and biosecurity programs across a protected region to safeguard natural, cultural, and visitor values.
* Lead regional pest management and biosecurity initiatives, including strategy development, risk assessments, and coordination of annual proposals and reporting.
* Provide expert guidance, mentoring, and technical support to operational teams, ensuring best-practice management and linking field operations with specialists.
Key Responsibilities:
* Develop strong partnerships and relationships with stakeholders to support conservation objectives.
* Oversee emergency response, compliance, incident management, and recovery planning, ensuring staff capability, safety, training, and effective delivery across remote environments.
* Lead regional planning, resource allocation, and infrastructure projects, contributing to asset development, fire management, capital works, and broader agency initiatives.
