About the Team
SprayLIne Road Services is a commercialised division within the Network Operations Division of Transport Services, and provides road maintenance services, construction and associated civil works, bituminous spray sealing and line marking to DoT, other state road authorities, municipal councils, and private industry.
About the Opportunity
The Road Worker role is responsible for performing a variety of road maintenance and civil construction activities including network inspections, hazard and defect rectification and emergency response.
About You
- Perform a variety of road, roadside and bridge maintenance activities accurately, under general supervision. Operate a variety of plant safely and in accordance with established policies and procedures. Install signs and traffic control devices in accordance with traffic management plans, under general supervision. Exercise judgement in effectively scheduling and prioritising own work activities to achieve required outcomes. Work effectively within a team and ask others for assistance as required. Effectively present information in a clear and logical manner using terminology appropriate for the audience.
