As a values driven proactive organisation, we are proud to be supporting landholders and land managers in the Blackwood Region - Shires of Bridgetown-Greenbushes, Boyup Brook, West Arthur and Donnybrook Balingup South, with the management of declared animal and weed pests on their properties.
We are a not for profit recognised biosecurity group funded by the Department of Primary Industries and Regional Development and guided by the Agriculture Management Act 2007 currently under review.

About the position
As the Executive Officer of this organisation, you will have a minimum of two years experience in a leadership, management or an executive role. You will provide executive support to a dynamic board of volunteers and oversee all aspects of the functioning of the organisation including management of our four professional, friendly and motivated staff, liaising with stakeholders, networking, project management, funding submissions, reporting, office administrations and financial management.
This role is offered as a 12-month fixed term contract with extension based on performance and funding.

In this critical leadership role, the successful candidate will be skilled in balancing multiple, often simultaneous activities, and will have the ability to constantly re-prioritise to help deliver the strategic goals of the organisation.
You will have a high level of professionalism, exceptional interpersonal and community engagement expertise, sound financial, reporting and administrative capabilities, and the aptitude to lead, support and work in a dynamic and forward-thinking team and environment.
