About the role
We're looking for an experienced Senior Business Analyst to join our Operations team in a part-time capacity. Based at our Subiaco office, and travelling to other sites as required, you will report to the Chief Operating Officer, with a dotted line to the CEO. This is a high-impact role for someone who knows how to turn complex data into decisions that drive real operational improvement.
Working closely with Finance and Operations leaders, you'll own the analytical function that underpins performance reporting, workforce productivity, risk oversight, and strategic business cases at executive and Board level. The arrangement is genuinely flexible — we're open to discussing FTE and working days with the right person.
Key responsibilities
* Acting as Business Partner to the Finance and Operations teams, facilitating alignment between the two
* Identifying trends in demand, utilisation, capacity, and turnaround times to support operational efficiency and service quality
* Evaluating workforce productivity — roster efficiency, workload distribution, overtime, staffing mix — to support safe and sustainable operations
* Designing and delivering executive and Board-level reporting, including monthly performance packs, KPI dashboards, and trend analysis
* Developing and modelling business cases in Excel for Board approval, including preparation of Board papers
* Supporting annual Operations budget development in partnership with Finance
* Assisting in the development of Power BI dashboards to track performance and productivity
* Maintaining the Operational risk register and developing a cadence of review to ensure risks are captured, managed, and mitigated
* Undertaking ad hoc data analysis and insights for the CEO and COO
About you
You're a commercially minded analyst who's as comfortable in a Board paper as you are in a pivot table. You build trust with senior stakeholders quickly, communicate complexity clearly, and take ownership of your work without needing to be directed.
To be successful in this role, you will have:
* Proven experience as a Business Partner to Finance and/or Operations functions, supporting decision-making, performance improvement, and cost management
* Strong commercial and financial acumen — able to analyse revenue, expenditure, productivity, and growth drivers
* The ability to translate complex analysis into clear, actionable insights for executive and Board audiences
* Advanced Excel skills, including business case modelling
* Experience designing KPI dashboards, monthly performance packs, and trend analysis reporting
* Experience assisting with or developing Power BI dashboards
* Desirable: experience in workforce productivity analysis (roster efficiency, utilisation, staffing mix), operational risk registers, and/or budget development in a complex services environment
Financial & career
* Competitive, benchmarked remuneration with regular salary reviews
* Clear opportunities for internal progression and development
* Discounted PRC services for team members and family
* Comprehensive retail, lifestyle and gym benefits
* Novated leasing options
Leave & flexibility
* Part-time role with genuinely flexible FTE and working day arrangements
* 15 weeks paid parental leave
* Option to purchase additional leave
* Long service leave after 7 years
* Subsidised parking available
* Confidential Employee Assistance Program for you and your family
Recognition & culture
* Annual Excellence Awards
* Peer recognition through our 'Thank a Legend' program
* Weekly CEO newsletter and transparent internal comms
* Annual all-staff Christmas party
* Regular morning teas and team-building events
