Step into a senior role with RACE/RACE-Extend at Westmead, where you'll deliver advanced physiotherapy care, lead junior staff, and shape service innovation in a dynamic, fast-paced environment.
* Deliver high-quality inpatient & community physiotherapy care
* Lead, mentor & supervise junior physiotherapists & students
* Drive service improvement & quality initiatives across teams
* Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams for holistic care
* Apply advanced skills to manage complex clinical cases
This is a temporary full time physiotherapy level 3 position primarily working in the community and assist cover the acute clinical areas of Geriatric Medicine. The work days are Monday to Friday, 8am -4.30pm. At Westmead, we have great team work and foster positive work culture by providing a supportive learning environment.

Essential Criteria:
* Qualifications: Tertiary qualifications in Physiotherapy
* Registration: Current General Physiotherapy Registration under AHPRA.
Selection Criteria:
* Relevant tertiary qualifications in Physiotherapy, and current National Physiotherapy Registration with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA).
* Demonstrated post graduate experience in Aged Care and ability to complete a comprehensive geriatric physiotherapy assessment and intervention of patients recovering from an acute illness or injury.
* Demonstrated skill in the analysis of complex issues, problem solving, formulating new approaches and implementing comprehensive change programs and improvement strategies, including the ability to develop and monitor outcomes.
* Highly developed interpersonal, communication, coaching and facilitation skills with the ability to work independently.
* Demonstrated ability to work effectively in a multidisciplinary team.
* Demonstrated knowledge of evidence based practice and commitment to ongoing professional development.
* Experience in clinical supervision of physiotherapists, allied health assistants and physiotherapy students.
* Current Drivers Licence valid within Australia.
