About the role
We are seeking passionate and experienced Lead Educators and Educators to join our vibrant and dynamic team at Twin Towns Early Learning Centre in Tweed Heads, NSW.
As both a Lead Educator and Educator, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality care and education to our learners, ensuring their holistic development and fostering a nurturing environment.
This perm/part time position offers the opportunity to make a meaningful impact on the lives of children during their crucial early years.
What you'll be doing
As a Lead Educator you will:
* Lead and oversee the planning, implementation, and evaluation of engaging programs.
* Create a safe, stimulating and inclusive learning environment.
* Mentor other educators with your knowledge and build a positive and supportive culture for your team.
* Build positive relationships with children and families is a must.
* Maintain accurate records of routines, observations and documentation in line with service requirements and regulatory requirements.
* We are looking for someone with availability to work four/five days, including open and close shifts, to offer the consistency in educators that is needed to form strong and lasting connections.
As an Educator you will:
* Contribute to the planning implementation, and evaluation of engaging programs
* Work with the team to ensure a safe, stimulating and inclusive learning environment.
* Build positive relationships with children and families is a must.
* Follow the Lead Educator in maintaining accurate records of routines, observations and documentation in line with service requirements and regulatory requirements.
* We have permanent and casual roles available for suitable applicants.
The successful applicant will have:
* Either an ACECQA recognised Diploma or Certificate III in Early Childhood Education and Care
* A strong understanding of the Early Years Learning Framework, child development, early learning principles, and age-appropriate programming
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to engage with children, families, and colleagues
* Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team and demonstrate leadership qualities
* Current First Aid, CPR, Anaphylaxis and Asthma Training
* A current Working with Children Check
* Current recognised National Mandatory Child Safety Training- (or be willing to complete before employment)
* Current recognised Child Protection Training- (or be willing to complete before employment)
* At least 2 contactable references
