Risk Analyst – Business Lending

As a Risk Analyst you will play a key role in monitoring credit models and decisioning strategies for Business Lending – from Sole Traders and Small Businesses up to large Commercial enterprises. You will provide insightful and timely analysis into emerging customer trends and collaborate with a wide range of stakeholders across the Business & Wealth division to support our Product and Distribution teams. You will also work with our Technology and Data Platforms teams to maintain and continually optimise our credit strategies.
Qualifications
Experience in report development and/or maintenance, with proficiency in one or more standard reporting suites such as Power BI, Tableau, Qlik, etc.
Proficiency in programming languages such as SAS, SQL or Python.
Strong experience in customer analytics, preferably within the finance industry and in a comparable role.
Experience in data mining large customer and transactional datasets to identify drivers and gain insights into customer behaviours.
Experience working with large databases – including both traditional warehouse environments and big data platforms.
Statistical model development and maintenance experience is advantageous.
Demonstrated collaborative approach, excellent stakeholder engagement skills, and a curious, inquisitive mindset.
