Advanced Clinical Nurse Specialist



Job Description:


The role of Advanced Clinical Nurse Specialist requires a Registered Nurse to utilize their advanced clinical skills to assess, plan, and deliver high-quality, individualized nursing care. The position will involve working across both inpatient wards and outpatient clinics, ensuring patients receive the best possible care throughout their journey.




Key Responsibilities:



* Provide high-quality, evidence-based individualized nursing care to clients of the Drug and Alcohol Clinical Services.

* Work collaboratively with a multidisciplinary team, including Registered Nurses, Clinical Nurse Consultants, Medical Officers, and Aboriginal Health Workers.

* Act as a role model and clinical resource, supporting and guiding peers and junior staff.

* Contribute to service development, patient care planning, and continuous improvement initiatives.

* Exercise autonomy and professional judgment in clinical decision-making.





Required Skills and Qualifications:



* Current Registration with the Australian Health Practitioners Regulation Agency (AHPRA) as a Registered Nurse.

* Post-registration qualifications relevant to the area of specialty with at least 3 years post-registration experience within the clinical area of specialty.

* Eligible to drive in NSW and willing to travel for work purposes.
