Position Overview
The Receptionist is the first point of contact for patients and visitors and plays a key role in ensuring the clinic runs efficiently. This role combines front desk responsibilities with essential administrative and operational support.

Key Responsibilities
* Welcome and assist patients in a professional, friendly manner
* Manage appointment bookings and schedules
* Handle phone calls, emails, and general enquiries
* Process payments, Medicare, DVA, NDIS, and private health claims
* Maintain accurate and confidential patient records
* Support daily clinic administration and compliance documentation
* Assist with referrals, marketing, and patient engagement activities
* Liaise with health professionals, suppliers, and stakeholders
* Provide operational support to the Director to ensure smooth clinic management

Skills and Experience
* Previous experience in healthcare, allied health, or similar setting preferred
* Excellent communication and customer service skills
* Strong organisational and multitasking abilities
* Confident with administrative and financial tasks
* Proactive, reliable, and able to work independently
* Familiarity with practice management software (e.g., Cliniko) desirable
* Friendly, approachable, and team-oriented attitude
