Make a Difference in the Lives of Young People This is an exceptional opportunity to work as a Child and Youth Worker in an embedded role within a youth-specific community service. In this position, you will engage directly with young people who may not otherwise access traditional domestic violence supports, offering them trauma-informed intervention, crisis response, and a safe space. The successful candidate will provide crisis intervention, safety planning, and case management for young people experiencing domestic and family violence who are at risk but may not seek traditional DV services. You will also offer trauma-informed emotional support and counselling to young people with complex needs, advocate for young people in relation to legal, housing, and safety concerns, and collaborate with key stakeholders to maintain service integration and professional boundaries. To qualify for this role, you will need a Bachelor's Degree in Social Work, Psychology, Youth Work, Community Services, or a related discipline, and 1–2 years experience working with young people in a DFV or trauma-informed context.
