Front Office Receptionist Job Summary
RACV Goldfields Resort seeks a Front Office Receptionist & Reservations Agent to join their team.
About the Role
This role is primarily focused on front office and reservations, with cross-training in conferencing and events. The successful candidate will possess strong communication skills, professional phone manner, and ability to prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities:
* Handle accommodation and conferencing reservations, confirm bookings, process changes or cancellations, and manage pre-arrival checks.
* Maintain up-to-date knowledge of resort services, rates, amenities, promotions, and conferencing/event spaces.
* Respond to guest enquiries via phone, email, and online platforms; create accommodation and restaurant bookings.
Requirements
* Upsell and cross-sell resort services to enhance guest experiences and generate revenue.
* Accurately maintain booking systems (PMS Opera, Micros, OTA platforms) and process payments.
* Collaborate with housekeeping, food & beverage, and conferencing teams to ensure guest needs and special requests are met.
The ideal candidate should have previous experience in front office, reservations, or conferencing/events in a 4–5 star hotel or resort.
