Overview
HVL Group have Permanent Onsite position available across multiple client sites, we will provide inhouse training to ensure you are competent at performing the role. This position is suited to a reliable non-trade maintainer with a sound mechanical aptitude looking for a change or wanting to further their career.
About you
You have sound mechanical aptitude with a can-do attitude and are willing to enter or expand your experience within the power industry. You will be responsible for applying your mechanical aptitude while maintaining your can-do attitude. You are able to recognize the importance of and live by the 3 core values of our business Safety, Reliability and Respect with the ability to conduct yourself in line with them on a daily basis and must be a good cultural fit with the existing team. We will provide you with on-the-job training to ensure you are competent at performing a variety of lubrication tasks conducted onsite.
Your Attributes include
* You have a motivated outlook, are punctual and will give your best effort each day.
* You consider yourself to have a good mechanical aptitude, with an ability to demonstrate it. Passing a mechanical aptitude test is essential for this role.
* You have excellent attention to detail with a focus on working safely.
* You have Excellent communication skills and close the loop when communicating information.
* You can work both alone and as part of a team.
* You must be from the Singleton, Muswellbrook or Cessnock LGA or nearby these locations.
About the Role
This role involves inspections and servicing of lubricated components on heavy industrial and power generation equipment and requires you to have excellent attention to detail, you will be required to pass a pre-employment medical including Drug and Alcohol testing.
Tasks & Responsibilities
* Online and offline mechanical inspections of conveyors, gearboxes and other rotating components.
* Lubrication servicing of rotating and fluid lubricated components.
* Defect identification, repair, and documentation.
