GHSP Strategic Project Co-ordinator

The Gippsland Health Service Partnership have an exciting opportunity for a suitably qualified Project Co-ordinator to join their team on a 12 month fixed term, full time or part time basis.
Reporting to the Manager of the Gippsland Health Service Partnership, this role plays an important role in supporting the function of the Partnership on delivering key health reform for the region.
The Gippsland Health Service Partnership leads a wide variety of strategic system priorities that can be enhanced by working together, rather than in isolation or competition. As part of this role, you will lead a number of key strategic projects for the team which include the Better at Home Program, Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander Health Initiative and a series of time limited, Gippsland region relevant projects.
The GHSP priorities consist of:
3. System-wide reform priorities which can be determined annually by the Victorian Department of Health. These currently include Elective Surgery Reform, the Better at Home Program and Residential In-Reach
4. Local priorities identified and agreed to by the Gippsland Health Service Partnership Board
The successful applicant will have:
5. A tertiary qualification in healthcare discipline or related area
6. Familiarity with the healthcare system, either in a direct service delivery role or a related role
7. Previous experience in project management and improvement is preferred but not essential
