The Role
We're seeking hands-on shift leaders for our warehouse team as Workshop Supervisors. They'll monitor performance of mechanics and maintenance/repair of Neuron N3 & N4 e-scooters. Primary KPIs relate to productivity of warehouse technicians (RTG/hour) and inventory accuracy levels. Reporting to the Operations Associate, a Workshop Supervisor ensures efficient, safe warehouse operation and adherence to standard operating procedures.
Key Responsibilities:
* Develop and execute Warehouse Management strategy in Townsville.
* Service and repair e-scooters.
* Ensure quality control and basic maintenance on electric scooters by the Warehouse team.
* Maintain adherence to Operations Standard Operating Procedures by the Warehouse team.
* Perform basic administrative tasks such as shift scheduling, manpower deployment, and inventory management.
* Plan and conduct monthly stocktakes as required.
* Train new e-scooter warehouse technicians and conduct refresher training as necessary.
* Other ad-hoc tasks as required.
* Responsible for Workshop KPIs.
* Represent the company as a positive brand ambassador.
Requirements:
* Prior experience in warehouse operations, particularly in mobility, transit, or supply-chain space.
* Prior mechanical experience with ability to service and repair e-scooters, including comfort with lifting, carrying, and manoeuvring 30-35kg as needed.
* A suitable personal smartphone is required (Apple or Android device from 2018 or newer).
* Prior experience in stock planning and management.
* A hands-on approach to leadership - comfortable leading by example and working alongside warehouse technicians.
* A process-driven mentality, with experience defining best practice warehouse procedures.
* Demonstrated ability to deliver results in complex operational environments.
* Flexible work schedule with occasional evenings and weekends as needed, especially during launch periods.
* Excellent communication and people skills.
* Ability to multi-task and keep up with dynamic, fast-paced start-up in high-growth phase.
* A keen curiosity in shared mobility and growth mindset.
