What you'll be doing
The Prevention and Response to Violence Abuse and Neglect ( PARVAN) Quality Manager provides leadership and delivers relevant strategic and operational advice on clinical governance, patient safety and quality, patient experience and accreditation functions across NSLHD PARVAN Services. The role leads the Clinical Governance Quality and Safety functions across the PARVAN Service, ensuring PARVAN Service compliance with the National Safety and Quality Health Service (NSQHS) Standards.
This includes facilitation, leadership, training and support to the management team and multidisciplinary clinical teams in delivering improved client care, and to undertake quality monitoring and improvement initiatives including clinical risk and incident management, clinical audit, and clinical improvement initiatives. The role also includes providing direction in Quality Improvement and Accreditation, Consumer Focus (Complaints, Compliments and Suggestions), Clinical Risk Management, Policy and Procedure development, Work Instruction development and maintenance and guidance of the PARVAN Internet and Intranet.

Candidates will need to meet the following criteria:
* Health related tertiary qualifications or equivalent extensive health experience in a Quality and Safety Management, Senior Project Management or Senior Management role.
* Demonstrated understanding of the National Safety and Quality Health Service (NSQHS} Standards and requirements for implementation, including risk management and mitigation approaches, and evidence development.
* Extensive knowledge of and demonstrated ability to provide leadership to implement quality and safety/ clinical governance strategies and accreditation requirements for the organisation.
* Extensive experience in providing high level leadership and strategic advice on quality and clinical safety programs and development of policies, procedure and guidelines. Understanding and proven ability to affect change utilising change management skills.
