Overview
Serco is seeking a Customer Service Officer – Reception at Fiona Stanley Hospital, Murdoch, Western Australia. This is a part-time role (2 shifts per week, Monday – Friday) with a pay rate of $34.43 per hour plus super.
You must be fully flexible to work various shift times which will include: 7:00am – 3:00pm, 8:00am – 4:00pm, 9:00am – 5:00pm, 10:00am – 6:00pm, 12:00pm – 8:00pm.
Responsibilities
- Greet and assist patients, visitors and staff at hospital reception desks
- Provide clear and courteous directions and information about hospital facilities and services
- Manage visitor access and ensure security requirements are met
- Handle enquiries in person, over the phone and via email with professionalism and empathy
- Support hospital operations by following established procedures and escalation processes
- Collaborate with colleagues across Facility Management to provide an exceptional experience
Requirements / Qualifications
- Excellent customer service and communication skills
- Ability to manage competing priorities in a busy environment
- A calm and professional approach during high-pressure or sensitive situations
- Previous experience in a front desk, reception or customer-facing role
- High attention to detail and accurate data entry skills
- Current Working With Children Check (or willingness to obtain one)
- Desirable: experience in healthcare, hospitality or call centre environment
