Accountant / Osbourne Park / Mining Resources / $110,000 - $125,000 / Flexible Working / Progression
A large mining resources business with operations across Australia is looking to recruit a skilled Accountant. The main purpose of the accountant role will be to assist the Financial Controller and wider finance team with various accounting and reporting tasks. This is a great opportunity to develop & progress within a successful organisation.
The accountant's key duties will include:
* Preparing month-end tasks, including journals and accruals
* Dealing with reconciliations, including balance sheet & intercompany
* Financial reporting, including variance analysis
* Reviewing financial data
* Investigating and resolving queries, including tax
* Assisting with sustainability reporting
* Assisting with ad hoc projects
Key skills required:
* Ideally, a Chartered Accountant's background, trained in Practice
* Strong analytical and reporting skills
* Excellent & confident communication skills
* Confident with excel
* Proven at meeting strict deadlines
