Aviation Ground Theory Instructor
We are seeking to recruit an individualwith the skill and experience to work as part of an established and successful team, delivering aviation theory from Commercial Pilot License (CPL) to Air Transport Pilots License (ATPL).

Flight Training Adelaide Queensland (FTAQ) is one of the leading Registered Organizations in aviation training in the southern hemisphere and we provide world class aviation training solutions. We are located at Wellcamp Airport in Toowoomba QLD.
FTAQ specializes in delivering to the highest standard, ab-initio pilot training for the airline industry. FTAQ has a long term contract to provide pilot training for the QANTAS pilot training academy. We have a modern and well-equipped campus, just outside the rural city of Toowoomba in South Queensland. The current flying fleet comprises of Diamond DA40 and DA42 aircraft.
Job overview
The Ground Training Instructor position is responsible for the effective and professional delivery of the ground training syllabi, at CASA CPL; andCASA /EASA ATPL.
Responsibilities
Subject delivery of MET subject matter
Deliver a structured, flexible and a quality driven training program and conduct lessons in accordance with FTAQ ground training syllabi
Ensure all training resources used are up to date and relevant
Develop, implement, and maintain training plans to meet the individuals learning style and level of skills and knowledge
Prepare, conduct, both training delivery and assessment procedures, ensuring they consist of a balance of theory, practical demonstrations and classroom exercises
Complete and maintain all training records accurately, document assessment results and submit to the Ground Training Manager upon assessment for input into student management system.
Ensure compliance with the RTO quality accreditation, legislative requirements, and organizational policies and procedures.
Participate in reviews to continually improve the RTO quality system and ensures a consistent high quality of training services and information for students.
Qualifications and Experience
Cert IV Training and Assessment or a higher qualification in adult education OR
Hold or have held a CASA CPL with QFI rating
Extensive experience in aviation ground theory covering all theory subjects
Knowledge and understanding of the regulatory bodies, CASA and ASQA
Experience teaching theory to a wide range of ethnic, cultural and English second language students.
