Job Overview
As an Anaesthetic Consultant, you will be responsible for providing safe, effective and efficient anaesthesia in accordance with Australian and New Zealand College of Anaesthetists standards.
* Anaesthetise patients for elective and emergency procedures.
* Ensure clear and accurate documentation throughout the anaesthetic process.
* Provide appropriate post-operative care from anaesthesia to ward.
Key Responsibilities
* Lead a team of anaesthetists to provide high-quality patient care.
* Develop and implement policies and procedures to improve patient outcomes.
* Collaborate with other medical professionals to ensure seamless patient care.
About You
To succeed in this role, you will need:
* Bachelor of Medicine; Bachelor of Surgery (MBBS) or equivalent medical degree.
* Appropriate Specialist Qualifications and registrable with the Medical Board of Australia as a Medical Practitioner with Specialist registration.
* Clinical excellence and extensive experience in Paediatric Anaesthesia.
* Understanding of patient rights and responsibilities.
* Ability to work independently and under limited direction.
* Effective communication skills.
