Our Team
Our Nurses deliver specialised, high-quality nursing care to older Victorians in our residential homes and in client homes within local communities. They enjoy working within a supportive, respectful environment where their expertise and empathy are valued and rewarded. The Role
We are seeking experienced Nurses to join our St. Laurence Court - Kangaroo Flat home, based in Bendigo, to cover Part-Time shifts. In this role, you will:
* Provide excellent, resident-focused care related to specialised nursing needs, such as managing diabetes, wounds, infections, pain, and medications.
* Maintain documentation, complete resident assessments, incident investigations, and related care documents in accordance with policies and procedures, meeting accreditation standards.
* Oversee the administration of daily clinical tasks to ensure optimal resident outcomes and conduct clinical monitoring, escalating changes as necessary.
* Apply sound decision-making skills to utilise resources effectively.
* Provide clear guidance to employees and actively promote positive working relationships.
About You
To succeed in this role, you will need:
* A current AHPRA registration (Bachelor of Nursing or higher).
* The ability to show empathy, treat others with dignity and respect, and collaborate effectively with residents, staff, colleagues, and other stakeholders.
* An understanding of the aged care legislative framework and requirements, including safe medication administration.
* A high level of accountability for your work.
* A friendly, positive attitude with a client-focused approach.
* Commitment to annual flu immunisation.
