The Banyans Medical Centre and Specialist Clinics, in partnership with Total Veteran Healthcare, is seeking a Veteran Onboarding Administrator to join our team in Bowen Hills.

The Role: As a Veteran Onboarding Administrator, you will play a critical role managing administrative tasks that support the triage team with onboarding veterans into our Healthcare programs. You will ensure timely and consistent communication, manage complex cases, and maintain accurate documentation, enhance patient satisfaction and contribute to the continuous improvement of the onboarding process.
Key Responsibilities:
* Administration support: Assist the Onboarding team leads with the patient journey. Including eligibility checks, bookings and updating the patient journey spreadsheet.
* Manage the collection of onboarding information, upload to patient files.
* Be proactive in follow up of requests for information from patients via email, telephone and other electronic systems.
* Collaborate with CVC Nurses, GPs, and internal teams.
* Document patient journeys and contribute to process improvement.

Who You Are:
* Experienced in healthcare administration with a strong focus on patient care.
* Proficient in systems management, including Best Practice and Microsoft Suite, including Excel, Outlook.
* Highly organised, detail-oriented, and an excellent communicator.
* Knowledgeable in healthcare billing, Medicare, Private Health, and DVA legislation an advantage.
* Passionate about supporting veterans, with an understanding of military culture.
* Ability to manage distressed clients with empathy.
* A collaborative team player committed to excellence and continuous learning.
