Human Resources and Operations Coordinator

We are looking for a reliable and organized Human Resources and Operations Coordinator to assist with Human Resources and the management of daily logistics and activities. In this position, you will contribute in an administrative capacity by assisting our teams on projects, supporting human resources and organizing company initiatives.

A HR and Operations Coordinator's responsibilities include helping their organization run smoothly, supporting managers with HR and ensuring that deadlines, plans for events or anything related gets accomplished on time with no issues.

Ultimately, you will work in a support role and oversee many administrative tasks as needed.

HR Duties;
Continually ascertaining current staffing requirements
Interviewing, hiring and onboarding new employees
Drafting HR policies and ensuring compliance with employment legislation
Organising employee training and development opportunities and updating the employee handbook
Assisting managers with performance reviews and incentive programs

Operations Duties;
Working with team leaders, managers, to learn needs and goals.
Assist managers in facilitation of schedule optimization by liaising with relevant departments
Observing, reviewing and analysing processes to identify inefficiencies and areas where improvements could be made
Reporting Profit and Loss
Identify areas of growth and optimization
Negotiating with suppliers

Skills and requirements;
Proven work experience in HR Coordination and/or Operations Coordinator or similar role
Positive time management, prioritization, and multitasking abilities
Excellent interpersonal skills to build strong relationships with colleagues
Effective communication, including speaking, writing and active listening
Able to give and receive feedback and constructive criticism from a variety of channels
Excellent strategic planning and problem-solving skills
Knowledge of human resources processes and best practices
Strong ability in using MS Office (MS Excel and MS Word, in particular)
Ability to handle data with confidentiality

Salary: $60,000.00 - $65,000.00 per year

Schedule:
8 hour shift

Experience:
Human resources: 1 year (preferred)

Work Authorisation:
Australia (required)

Work Location: Hybrid remote in Toowoomba, QLD 4350
