About the Clinic & Location
Located in the heart of Petersham, our clinic sits in one of Sydney's most vibrant inner‐west communities. Known for its "Little Portugal" heritage, fantastic food (Frango fans, you're covered), spots like the Petersham Bowling Club and Daisy's Milk Bar, plus easy access to Marrickville and Leichhardt — it's a great place to work and enjoy life outside the clinic.
About the Role
This is a permanent part‐time position, offering a minimum of 2 days / 15 hours per week (more where required), ideal if you're looking for balance without stepping away from meaningful nursing work.
Responsibilities
* Assisting vets during consults, treatments, and surgeries
* Administering medications and providing post‐operative care
* Running diagnostics and supporting treatment plans
* Caring for hospitalised patients
* Educating pet parents on health, prevention, and nutrition
* Supporting clients through difficult and emotional moments
* Maintaining accurate records and a clean, organised clinic
* Keeping surgical areas and equipment clean and hygienic
* Staying up‐to‐date with best practice in veterinary nursing
About You
We're looking for someone who brings both skill and heart to their nursing.
You'll Have
* Certificate IV in Veterinary Nursing (or equivalent)
* 2+ years of clinical experience
* A strong understanding of veterinary nursing procedures
* Confident communication and good organisational skills
* A calm, friendly, and professional presence
