Job DescriptionWhat you'll be doing
You will partner closely with hotel leaders to support both day‐to‐day people needs and longer‐term culture and capability initiatives across the hotel.
You Will
* Provide practical HR advice across employee relations, performance, and workforce planning, helping leaders translate strategy into meaningful team outcomes.
* Support recruitment and onboarding, ensuring a seamless and welcoming experience for new team members.
* Contribute to performance and engagement initiatives, helping our leaders build capability, strengthen development conversations, and foster a culture of service excellence.
* Work with the wider People & Culture team, assisting with employee relations, compliance, and workplace health and safety processes, ensuring fair and consistent practices across the business.
* Assist with reporting and HR systems maintenance, supporting accurate data and insights to inform decision‐making.
Qualifications
You are an experienced People & Culture professional who thrives in a fast‐paced, service‐driven environment and enjoys being close to the business. You bring a strong balance of operational HR capability and a practical, hands‐on approach to supporting leaders and teams.
To Succeed In This Role
* Experience in a HR Advisory or senior HR Coordinator role, supporting the end‐to‐end employee lifecycle within a fast‐paced environment.
* Strong capability in employee relations, including performance management, investigations, and disciplinary processes.
* Ability to thrive in a high‐volume environment with competing priorities.
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with confidence managing sensitive conversations and resolving conflict constructively.
* Working knowledge of workplace health and safety processes, supporting safe and compliant workplaces.
* Strong technical aptitude and confidence quickly learning new HR systems and tools.
* Experience in injury management processes (workers compensation and return‐to‐work) desirable.
* A tertiary qualification in Human Resources or a related field (preferred).
