About You and The Role
To be successful in this role, you will have the following skills:
* At least 3 years of experience in a similar role;
* Strong accounting skills and proficiency with accounting software (MYOB) and Microsoft Office with intermediate excel skills;
* Project-based experience desired;
* Strong math and critical reasoning skills, along with excellent attention to detail and accuracy;
* Ability to work independently and as part of a team;
* Strong communication and interpersonal skills;
* Ability to multitask and prioritise workload effectively;
* Openness to change and ability to adapt to new circumstances
The key responsibilities will include:
* Ensure payments are accurate, and made on time for the overall National Business;
* Input and code supplier/credit card/staff expense invoices accurately to business units/cost centres in MYOB;
* Distribute and collate invoice approvals on a daily basis, and ensure they are within the policy framework;
* Prepare and generate regular EFT payment runs for approval and payment within Lucid's trading terms;
* Complete Supplier Statement and Credit Card reconciliations
* Update and maintain relevant records and databases to ensure all information is accessible and accurate;
* Ensure compliance with internal controls, policies, procedures and accounting standards including Goods and Services Tax (GST);
* Responsible for account inquiries from internal and external source
