The Opportunity Fitness & Lifestyle Group has an exciting opportunity for a Facilities / Maintenance Technician to join the team on a full-time basis. In this role you'll step into the team and play an integral role in servicing iconic fitness clubs including Goodlife Health Clubs, Fitness First, Zap Fitness and Barrys to ensure the facilities and equipment are maintained to a high standard, providing both a safe and functional environment for both our members and team. In this Facilities Technician position, you will have the chance to build strong working relationships and rapport with our club managers as their first contact for all maintenance activities. This is a fast-paced environment where no two days will be the same. One day you will attend clubs to complete logged maintenance jobs assigned on a priority basis. On another day you could be fixing a piece of gym equipment in the morning and patching a wall or changing a light fixture at another club that afternoon. If you have a willingness to learn and a can-do attitude, we will provide you with the training to succeed and the chance to feel like one of our tight-knit team from day one. Key duties and responsibilities: Perform planned & reactive mechanical repairs and provide troubleshooting to gym equipment following club visit schedules to agreed service levels Ensure all logged maintenance jobs are followed up and completed in a timely manner Equipment removal and re-installation Document and maintain maintenance records and hazard identification, reporting any incidents or near misses through WHS systems.
