Solo Resource Recovery is a family owned and operated business, supplying waste removal and recycling services throughout Australia.
We have a position available within our Waste Education department to support our community engagement and operational activities. The position available is for a Bin Auditor, with opportunities to work across multiple Victorian Council localities, predominantly in the South Eastern but also Eastern and Northern Suburbs. This role would suit early morning risers and those looking for additional work.
Responsibilities
* The successful candidate will have the opportunity to educate and assist residents within multiple Council contracts through direct engagement and data collection activities.
* Bin repair and delivery programs.
* Waste segregation audits.
* Bin inspections.
* Community information programs.
Qualifications
* Ability to work in a pair, team and at times autonomously.
* Physically fit and healthy.
* Willing to learn varied communication systems and skills.
* Safety conscious and adhere to Company OHS policies.
* Flexible with start times.
* Interest in waste management, education and the environment.
* Must hold a valid driver's Licence and have the accessibility to use your own car.
No experience required and all appropriate training will be provided.
As per our employment process, all successful applicants will be required to undergo a Pre-Employment Medical, which includes a Drug test.
This is a casual position requiring a degree of flexibility with start times. Our projects can alternate with starts from 4:00 am till 8:00 am and shifts lasting 4 to 8 hours.
