MAIN DUTIES/RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDE BUT ARE NOT RESTRICTED TO
* Stock control for Kitchen operations
* Quality control of meals being served to customers
* Back of house rostering and staff management
* Developing menu offerings in conjunction with management
* Ensure kitchen meets all required health, safety and other regulations
* Estimating food and labour costs, and ordering food supplies
* Monitoring quality of dishes at all stages of preparation and presentation
* Discussing food preparation issues with Managers and other kitchen team members
* Demonstrating techniques and advising on cooking procedures
* Preparing and cooking food
* Explaining and enforcing hygiene regulations
* May select and train other team members
* Any other tasks deemed suitable by management
EXPERIENCE
* Previous chef/cook experience, Cert III/IV and 2 years work experience or at least 3 years relevant experience (ideal but not necessarily required)
PERFORMANCE GOALS
* To be defined with management on an ongoing basis
SCHEDULE
* 7 Day operation
* Morning shift, Afternoon shift, Day shift, Evening shift
* Flexible hours
* Rotating roster
* Available positions for causal, part-time & full-time
