The Medical Imaging team at the Mackay Base Hospital is seeking applications for an Advanced Radiographer (General) to join their team on a permanent basis.

Your opportunity
* This is an ideal opportunity for an experienced Radiographer to provide leadership to the General Radiography Imaging team, ensuring the provision of a high quality, efficient and effective imaging service.
* Working as part of a multi-disciplinary team, you will be responsible for the leadership, training, workflow management and governance of the General Radiography Section (including emergency, fluoroscopy, theatre and mobiles) at Mackay Base Hospital. You will also provide professional governance and leadership for the general radiography workforce across the Mackay HHS including radiographers and licensed operators.
About the Team
Our Medical Imaging Department delivers a range of services including, General Radiography (CR) and (DR), Computed Tomography (CT) (Dual Source), Ultrasound, Theatre II, Interventional Fluoroscopy, Cardiac Catheter Laboratory and Magnetic Resonance Imaging (MRI).
