The Opportunity
As the Marketing Manager – Beverages, you will lead the strategic direction, financial performance, and brand execution of a diverse and dynamic beverage portfolio. You will champion consumer insights, drive innovation pipelines, and lead a talented brand team to deliver exceptional commercial and brand outcomes.
Working closely with cross functional partners across Sales, Category, R&D, Finance, and our New Zealand teams, you will ensure seamless execution of NPD, media, communications and go to market programs that strengthen market share and deliver profitable growth.
Key Responsibilities
Brand & Commercial Leadership
* Own portfolio strategy, delivering revenue, profit and growth targets across AU & NZ.
* Lead the development of brand plans, innovation pipelines, communication strategy, pricing and promotional frameworks.
* Build business cases, consumer led propositions and GTM plans to support innovation and category expansion.
Marketing Excellence
* Oversee all advertising, digital, PR, packaging, and promotional activity across the beverage's portfolio.
* Direct media planning across traditional and emerging channels, ensuring effective reach and brand health outcomes.
* Manage agency relationships, sponsorship partners and media vendors with a focus on excellence and ROI.
Innovation & NPD
* Champion consumer insights to drive future Innovation and R&D opportunities.
* Oversee briefs, business cases, launch strategies and market activation for all NPD initiatives.
* Partner with NZ stakeholders to align launch timing, retail activation and commercial readiness.
Financial Ownership
* Manage the full P&L for the beverage's portfolio.
* Lead marketing and advertising budgets, optimising spends for maximum commercial impact.
* Deliver profit targets in line with business plans and corporate strategy.
People & Leadership
* Lead, mentor and develop a multi level brand team (Senior Brand Manager, Brand Manager, ABM & Marketing Assistant).
* Build capability, drive team clarity, and create a high performance culture aligned to our organisational values.
* Contribute as a key member of the ANZ Marketing Leadership Team.
About You
You will bring:
* 10+ years' experience in brand management, marketing leadership or FMCG portfolio management.
* Deep understanding of grocery retail dynamics, mass communication, brand P&L management and consumer insights.
* Proven experience delivering successful NPD, innovation pipelines and commercial outcomes.
* Strong leadership capability – able to inspire, empower and develop a high performing team.
* Strategic thinker with the ability to navigate complexity, manage stakeholders and influence at all levels.
* Tertiary qualifications in Marketing or related discipline.
