About the role
MacKillop Catholic College is seeking an experienced and passionate English, Humanities & Religious Education Teacher to join our dynamic team. In this full-time role, you will play a vital part in shaping the education and development of our secondary school students in Johnston, NT.
What you'll be doing
* Plan and deliver engaging and effective lessons in English, Humanities and Religious Education to students in Years 7-12
* Assess and provide feedback on student work to support their academic progress
* Collaborate with colleagues to develop and implement innovative teaching strategies
* Contribute to the broader life of the school through extracurricular activities and pastoral care
* Uphold the values and ethos of MacKillop Catholic College
What we're looking for
* Relevant teaching qualifications and registration to practice in the Northern Territory
* Strong subject knowledge and teaching experience in English, Humanities and Religious Education
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to engage with students, parents and colleagues
* Ability to create a positive, inclusive and supportive learning environment
* Commitment to continuous professional development and a collaborative approach to teaching
