About the Firm
My client is a growing alternative law firm with offices in major cities in Australia and also in New Zelandia and London. They act for leading listed and unlisted companies.
They have eliminated time sheets and billable targets and have moved to a 100% fixed fee model. They form long term relationships with clients and become their trusted advisers.
They also have a non‐hierarchical structure and treat their lawyers as adults. There is no requirement to come into the office a certain number of days per week, which means you can work from home as little or as much as you would like.
About the Positions
My client has created a new role that focuses on debt and asset recovery, breach of contract and enforcement of guarantees and indemnities. You will act for national and international clients.
About You
You are a litigation lawyer who can work independently but also collaborate and work in a team. You will also have a friendly personality with no ego, and can work in a flat non‐hierarchical structure. You also work well under pressure in a fast pace and agile environment. As well, you enjoy talking to clients and forming long term relationships with them. You are comfortable working in a law firm with no time sheets.
Qualifications
We are seeking someone with:
* 6 years of post-admission experience in commercial litigation.
* Experience in general debt and asset recovery litigation including acting for recovery agents, debt collection firms, financiers and corporate recovery clients.
* Abel to work autonomously and work well in a team.
