Purchasing and Logistics Expert
Our ideal candidate will oversee the strategic management of inventory levels across multiple platforms, ensuring reliable supply chain processes.
This role involves coordinating supplier orders to guarantee timely delivery of high-demand products. Negotiating pricing and contract terms with suppliers and freight companies is also a key responsibility.
* Inventory & Stock Management: Maintain optimal stock levels, leveraging expertise in inventory management, sourcing, and logistics coordination.
* Supplier Relations: Establish strong relationships with suppliers and freight companies to secure cost-effective shipping methods and timely deliveries.
* Logistics Coordination: Efficiently book and organize domestic and international freight to meet business needs.
* Cost Optimization: Analyze logistics processes to identify areas for improvement and reduce costs.
* Pricing & Product Management: Develop competitive pricing strategies for new items and restocks.
* Team Leadership & Communication: Lead and develop the Purchasing & Buying team to achieve business objectives.
* Report & Data Management: Provide regular updates on stock availability, large quantity stocked items, and slow sellers.
The successful candidate will have:
* Proven experience as a Purchasing Manager, Logistics Manager, or similar role in a fast-paced retail or e-commerce environment.
* Expertise in managing inventory, sourcing products, and coordinating logistics across domestic and international channels.
* Advanced knowledge of Shopify for inventory management, order processing, and reporting.
