Our Group Treasury Balance Sheet Management team is responsible for formulating strategy and guidance to optimise Macquarie’s balance sheet, as well as support business growth and returns. Our team partners closely with Macquarie’s business units, fostering strong relationships and a deep understanding of their strategy and balance sheet requirements.

What role will you play?
You will be responsible for developing frameworks, analytics and insights that support balance sheet optimisation by connecting Macquarie’s balance sheet with P&L and actions. You will also engage with Macquarie’s business units to review new product / business proposals and transactions, as well develop a deep understanding of the key drivers and risk factors shaping their strategy and balance sheet.
What You Offer
Ability to think critically about complex problems, a high level of attention to detail and commercial acumenStrong numerical and analytical skills, coupled with an ability to succinctly explain outcomes through both verbal and written communicationConfident interacting with a range of stakeholders to manage competing prioritiesFamiliarity with balance sheet and P&L concepts, financial products and instruments and knowledge of the banking sector would be favourableAcademic background in a financial or quantitative degree such as actuarial, accounting, economics, engineering, mathematics
