Position SummaryWe are seeking a highly motivated Recruitment Consultant / Team Leader to join our team. This role is ideal for someone who thrives in a fast-paced, high-volume recruitment environment and enjoys engaging with candidates over the phone. You will be primarily responsible for sourcing, screening, and on-boarding candidates for blue-collar industrial roles across warehousing, logistics, and manufacturing, while also supporting the performance and development of other recruiters in the team.The position will involve approximately 80% of your time focused on hands-on recruitment and 20% on team leadership activities.Key ResponsibilitiesCandidate Sourcing & EngagementConduct a minimum of 90 phone screens and 30 interviews per weekSource candidates through various channels, including:Online job boards and company databaseSocial media groups and professional networksIndustry referrals and talent poolsTargeted advertising campaignsMaintain proactive communication with potential candidates, even when no immediate role is availableScreening & AssessmentEvaluate candidate suitability based on experience, skills, and job requirementsConduct in-depth phone and face-to-face interviewsRequest and review on-boarding documents, ensuring compliance with pre-employment requirementsAdminister reference checks, medical questionnaires, police checks, and other verifications as neededCollaboration & PlacementWork closely with account managers to understand client job requirementsMatch suitable candidates to job openings and coordinate placementsMaintain accurate records in the recruitment databaseTeam Leadership (20%)Hold regular check-ins and performance catch-ups with other recruiters in the teamProvide guidance and support to team members on sourcing strategies and recruitment best practicesHelp monitor individual and team performance against KPIsContribute to a positive and collaborative team environmentFollow-Up & Relationship ManagementProvide candidates with timely updates on their application progressBuild strong relationships with candidates to encourage referrals and long-term engagementEnsure all recruitment activities align with company standards and client expectationsKey Skills & AttributesResilience & Persistence - Able to manage high call volumes and maintain consistent follow-upStrong Communication - Confident phone manner and ability to effectively engage both candidates and team membersTime Management - Capable of balancing personal recruitment targets with leadership responsibilitiesAttention to Detail - Ensure all compliance and on-boarding steps are thoroughly completedLeadership Mindset - Willingness to support and coach others while leading by exampleProactive Approach - Ability to build candidate pipelines and maintain engagement across multiple rolesQualifications & ExperiencePrevious experience in recruitment, sales, or a high-volume call environment is advantageous but not essentialExperience sourcing blue-collar candidates is a plusPrior leadership or mentoring experience is desirable, but not mandatoryStrong computer skills, including experience with recruitment databases and Microsoft OfficeLeigh BoyleBusiness ManagerManpowerGroup is committed to being a Diversity Confident Recruiter and encourages applications from people from a diverse range of backgrounds, including people with a disability.
