UGL is seeking experienced and safety-conscious Abrasive Blasters and Industrial Painters to join our team at BP Kwinana.
The role is a casual engagement starting ASAP for a 38‐hour work week with regular rostered overtime up to 48 hours (Mon‐Thurs 10 hrs per day, Fri 8 hrs per day).
About The Role
Monday to Friday, ongoing work. Perth‐based applicants only.
Key Responsibilities
* Perform abrasive blasting (grit/sand blasting) to clean and prepare metal surfaces in accordance with industry standards.
* Apply industrial coatings, primers, and protective paints using airless or conventional spray equipment.
* Read and interpret job specifications and coating system requirements.
* Ensure surface preparation and coating applications meet quality assurance and safety standards.
* Conduct regular inspections of painted surfaces for quality control.
* Operate and maintain blasting and painting equipment safely and effectively.
About You
* Minimum 4 years' experience in industrial abrasive blasting and painting.
* Relevant trade qualifications or certifications in surface preparation and painting.
* Must have White Card (Construction Induction Card).
* Current Driver's Licence.
* Must have Working at Heights, Confine Space and Gas Test Atmosphere within the last 2 years.
* Ability to pass a VOC assessment.
