As a qualified Senior Educator with a Diploma, you’ll work within a small team of early childhood professionals to deliver SDN’s high-quality educational program,, which follows children’s interests, creates a safe and trusting environment and works in partnership with families. At SDN Bluebell, we support families to feel confident, capable and connected and we are proud to create a community of families who also advocate for us.
About the team
SDN Bluebell is a modern, vast and purpose-built centre, conveniently located for families and educators within the Federation Square precinct.
We cater for children aged 6 weeks to 5 years, offering a nurturing and welcoming environment that promotes wellbeing, learning, and development for over 98 children.
About the role
In this role, you will:
· Collaborate with children to follow their interests and create engaging learning experiences
· Support children’s physical, emotional, and developmental needs
· Observe, document, and evaluate children’s learning and development
· Create environments that promote trust, security, flexible routines, and smooth transitions
· Contribute positively to a supportive and inclusive team culture
About You
You will bring:
· Experience in a similar early childhood education role
· A Diploma in Early Childhood Education and Care
· Strong understanding of the Early Years Learning Framework
· Working knowledge of the National Quality Standards
· A genuine interest in diversity, inclusion, and inclusive practice
· A valid Working with Children Check and current Senior First Aid
· Sound understanding of children’s development, health, hygiene, and nutritional needs
